Coming from a background of sports my whole life and studying Sports Medicine in my undergrad, fitness and health is a true passion of mine. Through my own personal journeys in the fitness world, I understand the difficulty in finding that path on our own. Being an extreme people person, I am driven to help support individuals in finding their own confidence, security, and comfortability in a fitness environment. While tackling injury prevention to succeeding in pushing yourself past your limits, I am excited to connect with you!

Owner and Personal Trainer

My path toward fitness started at age 12 when I threw out my back for the first time. It became a recurring issue that only got worse as an adult. Ironically, at first, exercise never seemed to help. I tried running, lifting, yoga… even a Crossfit program designed for Navy SEALs. Nothing worked.

 

After my first child was born, I knew I’d have much less time to commit to fitness and nutrition, so I decided to learn everything I could to finally get results with the limited time I had available.

 

Through that process, I transitioned from a successful career in music (ask me about it sometime) to becoming an NASM certified personal trainer (going on 10 years now), I gained AND lost 50 pounds (both intentionally), and I stopped throwing out my back.

 

Now my goal is to pass on what I’ve learned to others — anyone who is frustrated by their lack of progress and is finally ready to feel good about how they look and, more importantly, just wants to feel good… period.

Megan Marcum

Owner and Health and Nutrition Coach

Hi! My name is Megan, and I’m a health coach who helps women simplify nutrition and take control of their overall health through movement, stress management, and better sleep.. I’m passionate about helping women achieve their health and wellness goals by focusing on practical nutrition, movement, and sustainable lifestyle changes.

 

I am trained in evidence-based behavior change principles and certified as a PN 2 Master Health Coach.

 

I started my journey as a health coach after overcoming my own challenges with chronic anemia and recovering from being hit by a truck as a pedestrian. Those experiences taught me just how vital it is to prioritize your health—and how empowering it can be to find what truly works for you through guided self-experimentation and aligning actions with your values.

 

During our time together, we’ll define (and refine) your goals, create actionable steps, and collaborate to build habits that last. I’ll guide you through identifying what matters most to you, navigating challenges, and making progress that feels meaningful—all with the goal of helping you feel better, more energized, and in control of your health.

 

When I’m not working with my clients, you can find me hiking or adventuring with my family, creating new memories along the way.

 

I believe that true health isn’t about the “shoulds”; it’s about discovering your unique “why.” Everyone’s journey is different, and when you’re ready, we’ll create a path that helps you reach your goals in a way that feels sustainable and freeing. Let’s connect and start your journey!
